Our Founder
I created this website in my 5th year at Rutgers University. After going through a very turbulent first 2 years as a collegiate athlete, where I felt trapped and lost at times, I decided it was time to create a safe space in which athletes could speak to a more experienced athlete that could relate to them. Often times athletes feel handcuffed on who they can talk to within their program because the way they talk about their program can lead to their downfall. This website allows for anonymity to combat this problem.
Our mission
To create a safe space in which athletes can share their opinions of their program and connect them to more experienced athletes that may have gone through something similar and can offer advice.
Our vision
To create a world in which all collegiate and professional athletes can connect with each other with complete anonymity and discuss current struggles and past experiences.
Why mentorship?
Mentorship plays a crucial role in athletic development by providing guidance, accountability, and encouragement. Experienced mentors can help navigate challenges, set realistic goals, and inspire young athletes to push beyond their limits while maintaining integrity and sportsmanship both on and off the field.
Meet the founder
Our founders journey began in June of 2021 when he showed up to Rutgers University as a bright eyed young freshman not knowing what he was going to get himself into. After much success his freshman year, Gus struggled to see much playing time on the field and lost his love for the game. A renewed self in 2023, Gus found his love for the game again and found his way back onto the field earning academic honors as well as being named a 2 time B1G honorable mention player. Gus is currently focused on having a successful 5th season at Rutgers.
